RCCF Scholarship Applications Now Available

Students are now eligible to apply for Rush County Community Foundation [RCCF] 2018-2019 Scholarships; the application deadline is 4pm, Thursday, February 15, 2018. Scholarships are available for Rush County residents intending to begin or continue coursework in post-secondary education within the 2018 calendar year. The application packet and cover pages are available online at www.rushcountyfoundation.org/scholarships.

In order to be considered for RCCF scholarships, students must complete and submit the following:

  • The College Costs Estimator: All applicants must submit their up-to-date financial information through this online platform at www.indianacollegecosts.org. In addition to helping RCCF assess a student’s financial need, this site also provides families with college financial aid information and information about other scholarship opportunities. Access to the College Costs Estimator is made possible thanks to a grant from Lilly Endowment, Inc., Independent Colleges of Indiana, and the Rush County Community Foundation.
  • Current Official Transcript: one original and two copies. If the official transcript comes in a sealed envelope it is okay to open it to make copies.
  • The RCCF Scholarship Application: one original and two paper copies, with all requested attachments.
  • A signed cover page for each scholarship fund for which the student intends to apply, with any and all requested attachments.  (Visit https://rushcountyfoundation.org/fund-type/scholarships/ to view available scholarships and criteria)

With the exception of the College Costs Estimator, which is submitted online; all other information may be submitted to the Guidance Department of Rushville Consolidated High School, Knightstown Community High School or to the RCCF office. Again, the application deadline is 4pm, Thursday, February 15, 2018.

Scholarship funds are made possible by the generosity of donors.  RCCF holds 72 endowed scholarship funds that have awarded over $1.25 million in local scholarships to Rush County students. Meeting the philanthropic needs of Rush County since 1991, the Rush County Community Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit public charity established to serve donors, award grants and scholarships, and provide leadership to enrich and enhance the quality of life in Rush County, Indiana, not only today, but for our future generations.
