Job Title:  Administrative and Accounts Coordinator

Administrative and Accounts Administrator job posting

Reports to: Executive Director

Status:  Full-Time; 32.5-40 hours/week

Job Description

Manages daily office tasks.  Directs all financial, fund accounting and investment activities, maintains the tax-exempt status of the Foundation, prepares various financial reports and analyses, including income and expense reports, budgets, and government reports.  Coordinates and monitors outside investment management and oversees the Foundation’s annual audit.  Directs purchasing, payroll, benefits administration, and serves as the organization’s information systems manager.

Qualifications 

Qualified applicants must possess the ability to perform responsibilities involving independent judgement, initiative, and financial and managerial oversight.  Nonprofit and fund accounting experience, computer proficiency, and ability to manage an integrated accounting system is required.  Microsoft Access experience preferred.  High School degree required.

Applicants must be able to multitask and work with public, positively representing the Rush County Community Foundation in and outside of the office.

 

 

Job Title:  Program Coordinator

Reports to: Executive Director

Status:  Part-Time; 19-26 hours/week

Job Description

Manages all activities for grantmaking and scholarship programs

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must possess the ability to perform responsibilities involving independent judgement, initiative, and grantmaking in accordance with IRS regulations.  Computer proficiency, ability to speak publicly, prepare for and lead meetings and trainings, and work with nonprofit agencies, volunteers, donors, and applicants required.

Applicants must be able to multitask and work with public, positively representing the Rush County Community Foundation in and outside of the office.

Nonprofit experience preferred.  High  School degree required.
