Your Support in Action: Grantee Rushville American Legion Post 150 12th March 2025 2024 Recipient: $15,000 Community Grant Submitted by: Bradley Hatfield, Commander The Rushville American Legion Post 150 was able to make the main entrance handicap accessible for public use. Doug Corn formed and poured the concrete structure for the cement ramp and also built a cover over the handicap area to protect our members and the community when entering our building. This was not only needed for every day use but also it will assist in our efforts to make our Post a warming center when needed during storms and any disaster that strikes our community for those in need to have a safe place to come. I would also, at this time, like to thank everyone at the RCCF who made it possible for us at the Rushville American Legion Post 150 to obtain such a grant, making it possible for us Veterans at the post to make our post more convenient, safe and appealing to the public.
