YIP Spotlight: Keith Bacon

When RCHS junior Keith Bacon is not running around with the Cross Country or Track teams, he is giving back to his community through FFA, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, Youth in Philanthropy (YIP), and Moscow Christian Church. Keith has served his community many times, but he especially remembers the fun he had volunteering for Changing Footprints with YIP and walking animal shelter dogs with his youth group. Keith’s three years in YIP have allowed him to see that there are many opportunities in Rush County to become involved. Keith is taking advantage of these opportunities not only because they are worthwhile, but also because they will help him look appealing on college and job applications. Keith recognizes that colleges and businesses want to encourage and reward youth who care about their community. RCCF hopes many youth will follow Keith’s excellent example and start volunteering to better both themselves and our wonderful hometown.
