Tickets are now on sale for our first annual fundraiser event, Spirits for Giving, on December 31, 2015! 

“Spirits for Giving” will feature beer and wine tastings with representation from Bier Brewery and PRP Wine International. A cash bar, dinner, live auction, and DJ will provide entertainment prior to ringing in the New Year. Alan Cohee will be available for designated driver service to/from the event for Rush County residents.

Proceeds from this event will fully benefit our unrestricted funds that support our community grants program.  Additionally, all monies raised from the event will be matched $1 for $1, increasing Rush County Community Foundation’s ability to forever impact nonprofit organizations and residents.  To date, we’ve raised $10,100 in sponsorship in addition to in-kind donations for the food, event space, and service.

Community Grant dollars are vital to Rush County nonprofit organizations.  We have provided 275 grants to 110 Rush County nonprofits since 1994, enabling programs, equipment, and projects for Rush County agencies.  Over $900,000 has been disbursed to date, and if we attain our ultimate goal of raising $250,000, we will receive an equal amount in matching funds that will allow us to award an additional $25,000+ in grants to Rush County annually, forever.
