Thank A Teacher through the Rush County Community Foundation 30th November 2016 As we enter the holiday season the Rush County Community Foundation wants to remind parents and students in all schools in Rush County that making a donation to the Rush County Education Fund through the “Thank-A-Teacher” initiative is a great way to honor school system employees during the holiday by giving a gift that will give forever. When you “Thank-A-Teacher”, you’re giving local school staff members a gift that will continue to support their good work through project and classroom funding. Contributions made to the “Thank-A-Teacher” project directly support the permanently endowed Rush County Education Fund. The proceeds from this fund provide financial support for education-related projects not provided for in the budget of all schools in Rush County. It’s easy to “Thank-A-Teacher”! Simply make a donation to the Rush County Education Fund in honor of a teacher or a school employee. Designate the staff members’ name and your student’s name(s) when contributing. Donations can be made online at www.rushcountyfoundation.org or in-person at 117 N. Main St. The individual honored will receive a specially designed card telling them the name of the donor. These cards can be sent directly to the recipients or picked up at the Foundation office for the student to present in person. Give more in this season of giving: give a gift that will forever impact our community. A donation of any size to the Rush County Community Foundation is an investment in our community that will enable us to continue to serve donors, award grants and scholarships, and provide leadership to enrich and enhance the quality of life in Rush County, Indiana, not only today, but for our future generations.
