#ScholarUpdate – Keith Yager 15th January 2019 Keith Yager was awarded the Lilly Endowment Scholarship for 2017. As a graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School in 2017, Keith elected to continue his education at Rose-Hulman University in Terre Haute, studying Mechanical Engineering. Here is an update from Keith: I can’t believe my first year and a half of college is already in the books! It has been a crazy ride with a lot of hard work, studying, and fun. I completed my second year of football this past fall although my season ended early due to a shoulder injury. Fortunately, recovery is going well, but I still have much PT to do in the coming months. I’m so thankful for all the people I have met here and all I have learned in the classroom and in life. It has been a great experience so far and I’m looking forward to finishing out my sophomore year. I’m beyond happy to be here at Rose-Hulman and eternally grateful to be given this opportunity from the Lilly Endowment and the Rush County community. Although I completely embrace my college life, I am always excited for a break when I can return home to visit family and friends. Like this? Share it:
