RCCF Hosts Fund Payout Celebration 1st March 2016 The Rush County Community Foundation hosted its first Fund Payout Celebration on the evening of February 25. 65 guests attended the celebration, held at the 201 Building on Main Street. The event recognized the donors of the 76 designated funds that provide annual support to donor-selected organizations and the 66 local nonprofit agencies that are the recipients of these funds. In total, $91,682.88 was distributed at the evening’s celebration. Alisa Winters, RCCF Executive Director, welcomed everyone in attendance. After introductions, thanks were given to the Board of Directors, Community Development committee, and staff that were integral in the event development. Winters stated, “Tonight we’re proud to recognize the donors, the funds, and the organizations that make giving back in our community possible. Our hope is that tonight’s program draws awareness to your organization’s good work and the funds at RCCF that support your charitable needs each year – and will continue to do so, forever. As we kick off our 25th Anniversary and 25th year of giving back to Rush County, we want to acknowledge the people, organizations, and projects that make contributing to RCCF worthwhile.” Fund founders, donors, and organization representatives were recognized and thanked for their support of the Rush County Community Foundation and their commitment to betterment within our community through the work of their organization.
