Love Community Center to Celebrate Grand Opening with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on March 22nd

[1850 N Main Street Rushville, IN] – The highly anticipated Love Community Center, presented by Jay and Christie (Kile) Love, (LCC) is set to officially open its doors on Saturday, March 22, 2025, with a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to mark this momentous occasion. The event will take place at the center’s location, welcoming community members, local leaders, and supporters to celebrate the start of a new era for Rush County.

 

The Love Community Center is designed to be a hub of activity, wellness, and connection, offering a variety of programs and services that caters to families and individuals of all ages. With state-of-the-art fitness facilities, engaging recreational activities, and a commitment to fostering personal growth and community well-being, LCC is poised to become a cornerstone of the region.

 

The Grand Opening festivities will tip off at 11:00 AM with remarks from key stakeholders and local officials, followed by the ceremonial ribbon cutting. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet the dedicated staff, and learn more about the programs and memberships available. Light refreshments will be provided, and special promotions will be offered to those who sign up for membership at RCRC during the event.

The Love Community Center features the Rush County Recreation Center, Rushville Public Library, Rush County Senior Center, Rush County Community Assistance Food Pantry, Social Services including Firefly, ICAP, Westminster Early Learning Academy, and multipurpose event spaces. It will also serve as a gathering place for local organizations and initiatives, further strengthening the bonds within the community.

 

The Rush County Recreation Center (RCRC) serves as a key component of the Love Community Center, offering a premier space for fitness, recreation, and community engagement. RCRC features a fully equipped gym; group exercise room; an indoor walking track; multipurpose court for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball; and the state of art 100,336 gallon Herdrich Family Aquatic Center. Designed to promote healthy living for all ages, RCRC will provide youth programs, senior activities, and wellness initiatives to support the community’s diverse needs.

 

Prior to the Grand Opening, Rush County Recreation Center (RCRC) will host a Special Promo Week starting March 14, 2025, allowing early access for community members to explore the facilities and experience select programs. During this period, the RCRC will be open from March 14 to March 21 with special hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Beginning on Sunday March 23rd all facilities will remain open and operate within their regular hours, ensuring continued access to all programs and services.
