Brett Leisure is currently a junior at Purdue University studying agronomy. Through his major, Brett is able to give back to the campus community by being an Agronomy Ambassador. He helps grow the agronomy program by talking with and giving tours to prospective students because he wants to help his college to the best of his abilities. Brett has had a great time so far studying at Purdue, and he wants others to have a similar experience. One thing that really drives Brett’s learning is being a RCCF scholarship recipient. Knowing that someone values his education enough to donate to the community foundation makes Brett feel motivated to study because he does not want to disappoint the community that has faith in him. While Brett was in highschool, he gave back to our encouraging community by participating in Youth in Philanthropy (YIP). This organization taught him that helping others should be a part of everyone’s life because even small acts of kindness can make a huge difference. Here at RCCF, we could not agree more, and we are elated that Brett is doing fantastic at Purdue!
