The look of hunger comes in a variety of faces, ages, and backgrounds.  The Rush County Community Foundation has provided grant funding to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana for several years and several projects, ultimately impacting the Rush County residents who utilize Gleaners’ food program(s).  Our support of Gleaners came full-circle in March, when our two organizations were paired against each other in the Brackets for Good fundraising challenge.  Gleaners offered to give all contributions to Rush County, doubling our gain in that round of the competition. The Foundation had the opportunity to take part in the Rush County Mobile Pantry in May, offering us the chance to thank Gleaners for their good sportsmanship and to see our funds put to good use.
