CBAP Micro Grants for Downtown Beautification DOWNLOAD THE FILLABLE APPLICATION Dear Downtown Merchant, We are reaching out with an exciting opportunity! Have you wanted to spruce up your storefront but just don’t have the funds? We invite you to apply for a micro grant up to $1,000 to help. Our group has been participating in a Community-Based Action Planning committee, sponsored by the Rush County Community Foundation. This is a comprehensive plan that began with people from all over the county discussing the most important needs of our community. Coming in near the top of list was Downtown Beautification. We have seen many new and exciting additions to our downtown area in recent years. With the Bicentennial celebration this year, we thought it would be a great opportunity to help with some repairs or improvements you’ve been wanting to complete. If you are interested in applying for a grant, please complete the attached application form and follow all necessary steps to qualify for the funds. Grants are open to all downtown Rushville businesses, located in the area that reaches from the Flatrock River north to the train tracks, and east to west from Perkins to Morgan Streets. Applications must be completed with all information to qualify and are due by April 1, 2022. Requests up to $1,000 will be considered. Projects must include detailed description, cost estimate, and budget. Projects must be completed by August 1, 2022. Applications will be approved by a selection committee in mid-April and do not guarantee an award. If awarded, money will be distributed once the grant agreement has been signed and returned. A final report with receipts will be required. Any unused funds must be returned. Questions? Contact: rushcbap@gmail.com Like this? Share it:
