Rush County Community Foundation’s CIRCLe Fund members are eager to award a $15,000 impact grant to an organization serving Rush County and Rush County residents. The CIRCLe is interested in innovative programs or projects that are responsive to community needs, partnerships, and collaborative efforts. The application deadline is 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019.

Applications are available at the RCCF office at 117 N Main St., or on the RCCF website: www.rushcountyfoundation.org. Applications should be turned into the RCCF office. To be eligible to apply organizations must be located in or provide service to residents within Rush County, Indiana. Generally grants will be awarded to tax-exempt organizations classified as 501(c)(3) charities.

The 2018 CIRCLe Fund grant recipient was Rush County M.o.R.E. for Kids, which operates under the belief that inherent in every child is their ability to succeed and thrive in life. They use the mentor/mentee process to develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. Formerly known as Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Rush County, M.o.R.E. for Kids have hosted a monthly series of Community Conversations which have addressed some difficult issues facing today’s youth.
