Scholar Update: Amy Marlatt 22nd November 2019 After moving back to the county a little over a year and a half ago, Amy Marlatt now works for the financial department of First Choice Seeds in Rushville. Before moving back to Rushville, Amy went to Purdue University where she was helped by a scholarship from the Rush County Community Foundation. Amy believes her life would be totally different without this scholarship and her time at college. Amy is driven to philanthropy to help others have opportunities like she had. Amy is involved with the First Presbyterian Church, and until October 2019, she was the director for More for Kids. She really loved getting to mentor kids through this organization because of the relationships that are built through it. Amy loved seeing how just a simple interaction with a child could make them happy. She is currently getting to make her own little one happy every day, and her great example of philanthropy will be such an encouragement to her child. RCCF is happy to have been able to support her and so glad to have her back in the county! Like this? Share it:
