The Rush County Community Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity that allows people to establish permanent endowment funds within the scope of one large foundation.

Established in 2014 by Ken Brashaber, a former Rushville Consolidated High School agriculture teacher and FFA advisor. This scholarship is to benefit a graduating senior from Rushville Consolidated High School that has been active in the Rush County chapter of the FFA organization. The recipient must have been enrolled in at least 3 years of high school agriculture courses, maintained a 2.5 or better GPA, must have attained a Chapter Degree for FFA, and must be planning to attend a four year college or university pursuing a baccalaureate degree.
