YIP Spotlight: Jessica Miller

Jessica Miller currently works as a chemical sales account manager for DOW Chemical. Jessica gets to see several sites and people through this job as it has her travelling to 12 different states! Before her current busy lifestyle, Jessica kept herself busy at Purdue University where she was heavily involved in her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. This sorority brings awareness to domestic violence and tries to help the victims by raising money and volunteering at the women’s shelter close to campus. She also participated in an annual Halloween outing with children and animals from the animal shelter. Jessica’s passion to help those around her stems from seeing the impact it makes. Her time in Youth in Philanthropy in high school taught her how amazing it is to witness this impact and how much she enjoys volunteering.

Jessica was also a RCCF scholarship recipient which motivated her to study hard and helped to develop her work ethic. Jessica would like to help others grow in professional ways, and thinks mentoring high school students in Rushville would be a great way to help them prepare for their futures. Specifically, she thinks she and her peers could be great mentors for the students because they are all either a few years into their trade or have experience with college and life after college. If anyone would like to reach out to Jessica with questions about careers, college life, or community involvement, she would love to help! RCCF marvels at her servant heart and hopes people will take advantage of her wisdom.
