« All Events This event has passed. Weed Wrangle October 11 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am Free « Double Chuckle Comedy Tour Loophi-Con » Join us, The City of Rushville Parks Department and SICIM for a hands on Educational community service event. We will be learning all about the invasive bush honeysuckle, the negative impact it has on the environment and the proper way to remove it. This is a great time to get involved with park stewardship and help us combat this invasive along our trail system. This is a great group activity if you have a group who would like to help out this day. You will want gloves, long sleeved shirt and pants. If you want to bring your own pruners you can. I will have at least one person running a chainsaw. If this is something you are comfortable doing and have your own saw you can bring it as well. I will provide water and snacks. If you have any questions, please contact Kathi Jackley at programs@cityofrushville.in.gov or 765-969-5966.
