Have you ever wanted to try you hand at building a fire using flint and steel, or how about a bow drill? Maybe a hand drill “sparks” your interest? During this Primitive Fire-building class we will learn what materials to use to make a “birds nest”, then make our own nest as well. Our instructor Colby will show us how to use all the above mentioned methods to make an ember and then let us try our hand at making our own. Sound easy? Maybe or maybe not. Come out and find out for yourselves.

This is a free event and open to all ages. Registration is not required. We will meet at Riverside amphitheater and then proceed to a safe area for our class and demonstration.
