Arts, Community & Place: A Collaborative Workshop

We are excited to be partnering with imagine:nation, the Arts & Cultural Council of Rush County to bring a world-class event to our community! “Arts, Community & Place: A Collaborative Workshop” is part of the Indiana Humanities INseparable program and one of two events RCCF will be sponsoring in 2020.

Facilitator Kevin McKelvey is a place-based writer poet, designer, social practice artist and associate professor at University of Indianapolis. He will begin with a look at Hoosier writers and artists and lead us through an exercise to identify our own cultural and historical assets. By the end of this hands-on experience, Kevin will help us think about and plan for ways to infuse art and cultural activities into our existing sense of place.

This FREE event will take place at City Center in downtown Rushville. Join us for an evening of warm arts and cultural conversation and a soup supper. RSVP by sending an email to Lisa, lbenjamin@rushcountyfoundation.org.

WHEN: Wednesday, February 5, 2020, 6:30-8pm

WHERE: City Center, 330 N. Main Street, Rushville, IN
